Wangfujing Group Co., Ltd., referred to as "Wangfujing," is one of the largest retail groups in China and a popular national commercial brand among Chinese consumers. The company was founded in 1955 and was formerly known as the renowned "New China First Store" – Beijing Department Store. Its sales network now covers seven major economic regions in China.

In the past, Wangfujing's related business operations were quite difficult due to low bandwidth issues. Due to environmental factors and data security issues, relevant data had to be retrieved from various stores and brought back to the Beijing headquarters in order to carry out related business operations, which was time-consuming and resource-intensive.

To facilitate business operations in line with Wangfujing's business needs, it was necessary to establish mirror libraries of various stores at the Beijing headquarters as an ODS layer, enabling subsequent business data to be directly applied from the ODS layer, thus eliminating the previous time-consuming and resource-intensive stage and optimizing the overall operational difficulty and timeliness of the business.

The protagonist of this data collection is the Sybase database, a high-performance, highly reliable, and powerful relational database system designed for online transaction processing. It is commonly used in the telecommunications, finance, securities, transportation, energy, and some medium to large enterprises.

For this project, DSG SuperSync for Sybase logical transaction-level synchronization software is deployed on intermediate servers in each store, achieving low-bandwidth, non-stop, non-stop business synchronization of Sybase-MySQL remote full data and real-time incremental data, and centralizing multiple databases into one dataset.

DSG SuperSync is one of the core products of DSG, using a non-interface mode and proprietary database log analysis technology to achieve real-time synchronization between heterogeneous databases, adapting to the complex environments of numerous customers.

As one of the product lines of DSG SuperSync, DSG SuperSync for Sybase logical transaction-level synchronization software has shown its advantages in this data collection process.

During the project construction period, the DSG project team worked proactively, responsibly, and with a rapid response, upholding a professional and dedicated work ethic to provide strong technical support services to customers. The core technical colleagues of the project have persisted in updating the project progress daily to ensure the normal operation of the project.
